Paweł Mandera
I build systems that shape how people interact with language and information.
Currently: Working on natural language processing and adaptive AI systems for language learning. Over the past decade, I've built NLP pipelines, content generation systems, and adaptive algorithms that personalize learning for millions of users.
Previously: Researcher at Ghent University studying large-scale behavioral experiments and distributional semantics—essentially, how to extract useful patterns from massive datasets of human language use.
My work sits at the intersection of NLP, behavioral science, and machine learning.
I’m particularly interested in how AI systems can be designed to support human capabilities rather than capture attention.
Interested in conversations about NLP, behavioral systems, and AI designed to support human capabilities.
