Paweł Mandera
I build systems for language, learning, and sensemaking. My current work is about helping people think through complex situations: turning uncertainty, conflicting assumptions, and possible futures into something they can inspect, reason through, and learn from.
Before this, I worked across language AI and cognitive science. In industry, I spent nearly a decade building language-learning systems with NLP, machine learning, LLMs, and adaptive-learning loops. In academia, I used computational models and large-scale behavioral data to study language processing and meaning.
I am especially interested in tools that support learning, judgment, orientation, and thoughtful action. I keep returning to one question: how can software help people learn and think more clearly?
Interested in conversations with people who help others think through difficult situations: facilitators, coaches, educators, researchers, advisors, and builders of unusual tools.
